    Secondary connection and query data

    Hi everybody, here's my story.

I hace 2 connections, una primeray and one secondary. The both accesing database from SQL.

The first connection have a field "supplier_id" that return me a number "1, 2, 3, etc..."(pk of supplier table on secondary connection) i want to see in other fields of my form, all the data corresponding with that number (that data are on the secondary connection).

    Somebody???

    Thanks for any help. :-)

Typically you would have a repeating table of your secondary data and then use conditional formatting to hide all records where Supplier_id does not equal a form value.

Then only the records which match will be visible (one since it is a PK) and it will be dynamic as the form selection changes the formatting will change.

thanks, but the extensible table returns me all the records. :(

i put the rule: "if supplier_id" (primary connection) is equal to "supplier_id" (from de secondary coinnection) then make the query to the secondary connection.

i only want to see the details of that supplier_id.

What do you think about this???

    Thanks again.

    Yes this what I mean.

You would want to format so that all records are hidden except where supplier_ID inyour table equals the supplier ID chosen. Which would probably be stored in a field value somewhere.
