    File attachment placeholder text

    Hi,

Is there a way to change the placeholder text "Click here to attach file" of the base64 file attachment? All I have found so far is the Screentip Text.

Sorry, no. That is a string internal to the application and not editable.

Thanks, that's a pity though when you have a created a form in another language and in the middle of everything there is a line in english.

Another "file attachment"-question; Is there a way to modify the behaviour of the hint text of a repeating section (ie for attaching multiple files). I would like to show the text "insert another item" only visible when there already is a file/item attached in the section. Now the option is to show the hint text all the time or not to show it at all.

You have to use a little trickery to do what you want to do. It involves having two sections. Inside one section you show the file attachment with the insert turned off. In the second you have it turned on. Then you use conditional formatting to show one or the other based on whether there is an existing attachment.
