Send email for each form that is submitted.

I have a form that is within a repeating section so the users can fill out several forms at one time and then submit the forms.  I have a button that submits an email to a folder location when it is pressed.  It's within the repeating section so there's a button on each form.  My problem is that if there are 4 forms up to be submitted, I only get one email.   I have the email to submit with a name from one of the fields in the form and the email is picking up the 1st form name.  I've tried moving the button outside the repeating section where the submit button is but I still only get one email.  If I go down the list of forms on the screen and press the email button for each form, I still just get the email for the first form.

How can I get a different email for each form?  If I submit 10 different forms in one submit, I need 10 separate emails with the filename within each of the 10 forms.  And I would really prefer not to have the email button but to go ahead and do the emails when the form (s) are submitted.

    Thanks

I am not sure what you mean by a form within a form.  I would love to see a screen shot or sample of what you have.  I would think it would email the master form, that contained everything, with a submit.  If somehow you wanted to send a subset you would need to use code to create the emails and loop through each row.

Again I am not sure what you are doing is possible but would love to see it.

    Hi SBoyd,

The e-mail submit adapter works off of the entire main data source. InfoPath supports one XML per open form. If you have a repeating section with separate fields inside, it still equates to one form, since the InfoPath form contains the repeating section. You could write some code to submit the XML from each section separately but that's goign to be a little work (let us know if you want us to do that work for you for our regular consulting hourly fee).

    Cheers!.
