InfoPath Dev

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with my InfoPath form which is linked to a SharePoint library.  I followed the instructions to create a multiple-selection listbox in InfoPath2003 here: http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2004/04/01/106039.aspx.  and it works great within InfoPath.  I created a listbox which filters the "text" based on the checkbox, which gathers the values the user selects.  Unfortunately, these values do not show up in my SharePoint form library.  Can filtered data from listboxes not be sent out to SharePoint?

Hey Ethan.

The problem comes from the repeating nature of the list box.  Promoted items are just one per field or column.  If you wanted more, you would need to create some dedicated fields, each with one of your list box choices, and then promote each one.  Promoted properties in Sharepoint can be expanded left to right but do not support a list from top to bottom for each document.

Thanks for tip.  Could you expand on how to implement this?  Where would these 'dedicated fields' be created?  And please explain promoting.  Sorry for the noobish questions... I'm a novice, but lookin to learn!
