Hi,

I have an ordering system where a staff member makes an order and submits it.

Once submitted I have a field on page 2 called 'stage'  and this displays the number 2 once submitted the staff member submits their order for approval.

 In Sharepoint I have created a view which shows each stage of your order and how far it has been processed. But when a staff member goes into their order they can see the managers approval section aswell and can even click the submit button.

 I want the managers approval section to show on the staff page only once the manager has actually clicked on the submit button and not before.

 But I want managers to be able to see this section as soon as they go in.

 Is there a way of setting a condition to do this?

One Idea would be that under change general settings you activate Content Approval for your form library. like this the form would get uploaded but is invisibile for everyone except site administrators (what would need to be your managers then). once they approved the uploaded document and / or entered their information the file will become available for everybody. would this work for you ?
