Record Pointer in lookup rule does not reset to top of recordset....

    Clay,

I have the rule (which does a lookup on a table which populates the account name ) in a textbox. I also have a similar lookup on a repeating table which contains a textbox. I have noticed the lookup works fine on the first repeating table iteration for instance is GREAT COMPANY INC.

Now, if the second entry in the repeating table is something that is after "G", the same value for GREAT COMPANY INC will populate in the repeating table, if I enter a value like DRACULA ENTERPRISES, INC...which is less than "G", then it works fine. Its like the record pointer is sitting on the last entry and does not reset to the top of the file. Is there a function that I can use to reset the pointer in the rules....

    Thanks

OK, I got it working. It was the current()....I found some sample that looked close to what I am doing....I copied it...and it worked. Thanks to Clay for helping me learn this new technolody. I don't know what I would do without you people. You might want to write a book on Infopath...there is nothing helpful out there with good examples and ideas to problems etc.....   THANKS AGAIN.
