Sending a reply for a form from Infopath to the original sender

I am new to Infopath and have just finished creating a form to use as a training room reservation form. Here is the flow of the document. The user opens the form from SharePoint, enters the room information, then clicks the submit button to send an email to the room advisor. The room advisor opens the attachment in the email and fills out the bottom portion of the form. They must then send it back in Outlook to confirm the reservation by choosing reply and hitting send.

My question (If it can even be done): Instead of opening or choosing reply from Outlook for the reply confirmation, is there a way to add a button on the form to send an email back to the original sender for their confirmation? Is there code to write or a way to do this? I am using Outlook 2003, Infopath 2003, and Sharepoint 3.0 currently for this project. Any information that anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.

You can have multiple email submits, one for the first stage and the other for the second stage.  Then in your form you use rules to select which one should be used.

If you are looking for email workflow, you may want to look at one of the sample forms included with the Database Accelerator. Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite Version 2.1 - Developer

This would also allow you to database the information also to show room schedules or allow greater visibility then just the two email recipients.
