    Help using the downlevel tool

    Hi everyone,

I am wanting to use the downlevel tool so that I can send copies of Infopath 2003 forms to people who don't have infopath installed locally on their computers, I mistakenly thought the wordprint tool would help me do this by opening it in word but it seems this isn't the case.

After reading the details of the downlevel tool it seems to be exactly what I want, I am struggling to understand how to use it however, I am a fast learner when it comes to computers but I have never done anything like this before so I need some basic instructions to get the ball rolling,

     can anyone help?

    Hi jon.

I am not familiar with this downlevel tool. Do you have any references or links?

With 2007 you can host forms in a webpage for users without InfoPath. Qdabra also has a from viewer which will work with 2003 but I am not aware of any tool that allows viewing XML other than in its raw state.

    http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/aa662313(office.11).aspx

there is some information about it,

It is included with the Infopath 2003 Software development kit (SDK), I unfortunately don't have 2007, it would solve my problems as I could simply save as a .pdf using one of microsofts add-on's but unfortunately I doubt I will be able to obtain an upgrade at work.
