    double repeating table?

    is it somehow possible to do a repeating table that is extendable in both dimensions?

    the problem is the following: the number of columns of a repeating table depends on the number of items in a List.
    namely this list is a employee-list and the downward part of the table would be tasks that they are assigned to, that can be added using this form.

    so in a sort of way, this is quitie static and i think it only would need to be fetched once; when the form is created.
    and i think that with proper xsl-editing, this should be possible in some way.. but i dont know how since in the end the user should fill out the form in infopath etc.

    any suggestions?

     Hello

    Just by copying the Group in the horizontal repeating table into the Normal repeating table will work for you?

    I mean clubbing both the repeating tables into one

    it kind of does, yes. i mean, that's the way it would work.

    the problem is that the thing should be in spreadsheet-form, where one dimension is rows (tasks) and the other columns (assigned people).

    but, by the means of scripting, isn't there a way to initialize the form with a certain number of columns? (fetched from a sharepoint list.).

    (and then leave it static..)

    Hello

    You can set the default number to minOccurs in the schema.xsd. If you set it as 2, then by default 2 rows will be shown.

    For Eg:

    <xsd:element ref="my:group2" minOccurs="2" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
