Auto Populate a form & SharePoint column problem

When I use the procedure [../@ID=current()] to populate the rest of the address fields after selecting the Company Name in the drop down List box everything is great on the form.  The problem is the form is published to SharePoint & the Company Name column shows up as the ID#.   I can get SharePoint to show the actual Company Name by changing the Value property of the Company Name field from @ID to @company.   But then the other address fields on the form down auto populate.   I need auto populate on the form & the Company Name to show in the SharePoint column, and not the ID#.   Anyone got a fix for this?

I think you want to have all the columns in Sharepoint but then hide the ID row. or make it very small so that you can make the view in Sharepoint look right but also have the ID data there for you form.

That's not it.  I tried it.   The view in sharepoint substitutes the Company Name for the ID# because of the Company Name field "Value" Property settings.  If I don't use @ID in this property setting then it doesn't fill in the other address fields.

Hey , the way I got around this was by creating a hidden text field in the form. Pull the value from the company name drop down list into the hidden field. When you promote the form into sharepoint, promote the hidden field, not the drop down list. This will solve your problem.
