AD GetMyInfo fields get not inserted into sql database

    Hello everybody,

I am using the GetMyInfo Service to prepopulate fields in a infoform with user data out af ActiveDirectory. I am trying to shred the data of the form into a sql database. All fields of the form that are manually filled get succesfully submitted into sql, but all of the prepopulated fields with the ActiveDirectory details, are not submitted although you can see them in the form.

How can I change this situation ??

Hope someone of you can help me.

     Thanks in advance guys.

    Hello Bjoern,

It sounds as if this is a problem with the configuration of shredding in DBXL not a problem with the AD web service since you can see the data in your form correctly.

Are you moving any data out of the secondary connection into your main schema?  Or are you using the fields of the secondary directly?

My guess would be the xpath.  In the DAT are you browsing to the fields in the task pane when you are creating the data mapping?

Give us a bit more informaiton on your shreding setup and the layout of your form.

    Hi Clay,

First of all thank you very much for your answer. You are right. The AD Werbserive seems to work fine. So I probably posted into the wrong section...

I found my mistake know. I was doing the wrong mapping in DBXL. So it works fine now.

But I have another question :

Till now i only followed the Step by Step guides from Qdabra. Now I am trying to create my own project. When I want to create a submit connection for my own form via the webservice "submit document", infopath only lets me map the "name","author" and "description" fields from the "Step by Step guide". How can I use the schema of my own form with the webservice ?

Hope you know what I mean ;-)

If you are using DBXL's submit document you can submit a form as is, the name author and description is meta data to describe it within DBXL.

If you want to shred, export data from your form into a table, then you configure this in the DAT and data mapping.

I would look at some of the tutorials for more information or you can contact me directly.

Configure Form to Submit to DBXL Webservice

    Configure Database Mappings in DBXL
