InfoPath Dev

I have read every post on the current() feature and can not figure out how to get it to work with the XPath below:

xdXDocument:GetDOM("PRODUCTS")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:PRODUCTS/d:PRODUCTS_POM/@POM_PLANT_NUMBER[xdXDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:Quote/d:QuotePart/@Part = ../../@BASE_PART and xdXDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:Quote/d:QuotePart/@Paint = ../../@PAINT_CODE and xdXDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:Quote/d:QuotePart/@Pack = ../../@PACK_CODE]

 Any help on where the the current() funtion should be inserted in this would be very much appreciated!!

Ok, so I got current() to work but now it changes the value of the current field and updates all the rows above it as well.... help!

HI, you didn't actually tell what you want to do but I assume that you may be should use the last() function instead fo current() but thats just a guess

Thank you for the reply!! Sorry for not posting more information. Here is what I am trying to do.

 The repeating section has attributes of a part number that should auto populate after the part number is entered. The XPath above is for the field that should populate the PART_DESCRIPTION. So basically once the PART_NUMBER is entered it populates the PART_DESCRIPTION which is in the PRODUCTS table. The filter on the field is verifing the value entered in the DonaldsonPartNumber field equals PART_NUMBER in the PRODUCTS table and returns the PART_DESCRIPTION for that part.

 

When I insert a new section all the attributes carry from that part number no matter what part number I enter in the other sections...
