I have a button on my form that i want to open a new email with the some of the email field populated by data on my form (TO, FROM, SUBJECT) i can do this if the form is opened in info path using the following code

 

System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("mailto:[email protected]") 

The problem is that this code does not work when the form is opened in the web.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this functionality in a web form.

looks like you use c# as your programming language so i would suggest that you have a look for the standard smtp mailmessage object or you can also use the mailenvelope. just have a look at you msdn help file and you'll find everything you need. you alos search the forum for "email" as there have been already many threads about it. hope this helps.
