Hi there

I created a form template with some programing in it and waned to send it to someone else to finish it up..

 
i went to file save as new form.xsn and sent it to her via email and she is not able to open it.. she finaly got it to open in desing view and she saved it as say new form new . xsn and she keeps getting a template conflect id error...

is there a easy was to send a template to someone without loosing my programing and stuff? so they can open it and make it look pretty??
 

Hi redhead,

If you are using unmanaged code behind the form, then sending the XSN should be all you need to do.  When they receive the XSN they will likely have to open it in the Designer, and then choose File -> Publish to re-publish the form to their local machine.

If you are using managed code, then you will need to send a ZIP of all the associated files.
