I'm new to the forum. Howdy.
I've got a lovely little SharePoint server, and I'm experimenting with InfoPath. Pretty exciting stuff.
Here's the problem: on my workstation (IBM ThinkPad - R51), it takes forever (actually, about 15 minutes) to open a document from a forms library. I think there's one other user who's having a similar problem on a Dell laptop. Any other workstation - no problem.
Here's what happens: click on the link, get prompted to open, click okay. InfoPath starts up, I see the dialog to download the file and the template, then InfoPath just appears to hang for 15 minutes, then opens the document.
Anyone else have any experience even remotely similar? I've done BIOS upgrades, Office uninstall/reinstall/repairs, all the obvious stuff.
