Hi guys,
I have a web service that update sql database using all its parameters. Then I use the web service in my infopath form to update the sql database by
Add Data Connection
1. Tools>Data Connection>Add>Submit data>To Web Service>
2. Identify the web service and
3. Set all the parameters from InfoPath form fields
4. Provide Data Connection name "updateTable"
Add Button
1. Add button control
2. Set Rules in button properties
3. Rules action is to Submit using data connection and
4. Select the data connection "updateTable"
That's done, I can update the sql database from Infopath form with NO PROBLEM at all. But the question is Can I call the Data connection created from manage code ?
Let say I want to call the web service in OnSaveRequest(SaveEvent e) function. Is this possible ? If it is possible, Can somebody please give me an example ...
