I am having a similar problem to the issues discussed in previous forums. I followed the solutions, but without any luck. These forums were

On my machine everything works great with my Infopath form that is connected to a SQL database. When I share the form, or if if another user accesses the form, they are prompted with a SQL Server login diolog box. You can choose the database from the dropdown list, which isn't a problem and it will let you write to the database. The problem is the login box prompts after each form submission and the speed if very slow. I do not get the dialog box from my machine.

Any ideas would be greatly helpful.

I am new to SQL so I am sorry if you have tried this already.

I use to get the same error until I added a seperate user id in the database and had the data connection use that ID rather then windows authentication.

Thanks for your reply. I just checked it today as I was inspired to fix this nagging issue, which has been lingering for some time now.

I am new to SQL too, and I am not a software person but just someone trying to improve things around the shop. I had the IT admin add another user ID and password, but I am not sure how to log onto the database other than windows. Is that a setup in Infopath?

I did not use the 'trusted connection' in the SQL Server login, rather used the SQL login, but that did not seem to work either. I still got the frequenct login box.

Any additional information would be helpful.

For that to work with the MSDE version of SQL server, the server would of have to been installed using mixed mode with network connections enabled, I cant remember if it's the same for other versions or not

I think it should be somthing related to the DB users & DB Roles and DB permissions !!
I don'y know if I'm right or not ?!

I creat some new users in my DB and give permissions to them , but I didn't get any result till now ....
