Hi All,

I have a form which on which i enter few details and then take it to the MS Access DB. this is done using Jscript code in Button event. Using which i enter record by record in the database.

when I do this I get an Error : Safety settings on this computer prohibit accessing datasources across domain.

To avoid this I did IE settings. In IE Internet Options --> Secutity Tab.--> Internet --> custom Level --> Miscellaneous -- > enabled access datasources across domain.

Please Let me know what i did is correct or not?
Pls give me correct soln for this

Hi Shreeprabu,
This is probably not a good idea since it allows redirection to other sites which may not be trusted. I would recommend reverting the setting in IE and adding the domain on which you have your Access DB to your local intranet sites (for .NET code) or trusted sites (for jscript). Then it should work fine and not be a security hole. Good luck!
