    Just to clarify, the table I would like to lookup is a secondary data source. (../../d:LCG_PRIMARY2/d:LCG_MATRIX2/@CLASS) The "2" is the secondary portion.

    So if i change the field to "../@Class" I don't think Infopath knows which @Class field I'm referencing. (Data Source 1 or 2)

    Hi Javier,

    Above XPath is used for setting the value or conditional formatting on that filed? For giving any XPath you have to select data source as 1 or 2. Depends on your selection of data source it will check the given XPath is exist or not.
