    Disable Field

    hi,
    I've been strugling for days:
I Have a Repeating Table that contains, among other fields, a check box.
I've been tring to format another table field whenever the corrsponding box is checked without success!

    Repeating Table 1
    CheckBox, FieldX, field2

    Repeating Table 2
    FieldX, FieldY

If the checkbox of fieldX is checked, disable FieldY on the Repeating Table 2.

this is the confitional formatting that I have now on my FieldY ../../../../my:BOM1/my:Table1CheckBox = string(false())

    How i can Do this?
I'm a new Newbie, and this is only thing that is missing to complete my form.

    Thank you

    Hi,

You can do this using conditional formatting on filedY in Repeating table2. .
    Do the below steps.
    1.Double click on FieldY.
    2.Click on Display tab.
    3.Click on Conditional formatting.
4.set the condition as Check field is equal to true then select Read only formatting. and click on OK button three times.

I Hope this will wok for you.
    Thanks.

    Hi Rharbeg,

Let me try to explain you,

    1. If your conditon is
    RepeatingTable1Checkbox = true
In the above condition if any one occurrence of RepeatingTable1Checkbox is equal to true then the output will be true.

    2. If your conditon is
    RepeatingTable1Checkbox! = true
This is apposite of the above condition, if all occurrences of RepeatingTable1Checkbox is not equal to true then you will have an output of false.
If it is not equal to at least one occurrence of RepeatingTable1Checkbox then the output will be true.

    3. Third condition can be
    not(RepeatingTable1Checkbox = true)

This will give you an output of true if your at least one occurrence RepeatingTable1Checkbox is not equal to true.
