change the color of greyed out fields

    just one short question:
can i change the color of greyed out fields?
if i deactivate a field its automatically colored in light grey, so the entry is quite hard to ready on the white background.

    how can i change it?

    thanks

You can change the color of that field. For that you need to click the “Conditional formatting” button of that particular field. In that “Conditional Format” window you have the “Shading” option by which you can change the color of that particular field

uhm maybe my question was a little missleading - i admit that :)

i know this feature of changing the shade-color

what i wanted is to alter the color of the text itself
just to let the "greyed out" text stay in black (only not editable)

if i would change the shading, you are right, i could read the text much better, but i would have colored bars in my otherwise complete white form.

thx neway for your reply :)

You might need to make two controls: one regular, and one specifically formatted for when the control is disabled. Then on the conditional formatting you can show/hide the controls on the same condition that performs the disabling.
