    Why I can't find ASP.NET Web Service option in the Template pane in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005?


    I followed this instruction: On the File menu, point to New, and then click Project.
    In the New Project dialog box, in the Project Types pane, select Visual C# Projects. But there is no ASP.NET Web service in the templates pane.



    Should I use the windows service for Windows ?

    Hey Fred,

    I found this link that seems to say that you need to "Add Components" to the VS2005 installation if the WS template is not showing up.
