Hi,

I tried to add the cells in a column with the fX (Function) button:
Inserted sum function and doubleklicked to insert field.
my test was about adding cel a1 and a2 and a3 so i wrote: a1+a2+a3 and it says to be a valid formula.

still my totals are strange, if i fill in the number 5 as user in the three cells it adds up to 101 etc...instead of 15.
What am I doing wrong?

I am an absolute newbee so if someano could write this formula as example i wouldbe gratefull.

I found out I was thinking to difficult.
The sum adds up in the footer en i put the name of the column in properties.

Stil I wonder why it said the formula was OK, but anyway this problem is solved.
