    Data Connection to SharePoint List

I have a form from which I want to place a hyperlink to a document from a SharePoint Document Library.

I created a data connection to the SharePoint Document Library - Works
However, the field I need from the Sharepoint library is the "Name" field because it is the actual filename in SharePoint. I see all other SharePoitn Meta Tags such as Title, ID and the others I created, but I need the "NAME" field.

My plan is to use the "NAME" field and concatenate the remainder of the path, to build the hyperlink to the file.

    Hey ek38,

I just tried this and the Form Library that I connected to returned the filename in the "@Title" field. I pasted this at the end of the URL in IE and was prompted to download and save/open the form.

Does Title not contain the name of the XML file for you?

Re: Data Connection to SharePoint List

    Matt,

I am trying to get the filename in my Infopath form for a file that is contained in a SharePoint "Document Library", and not a form library. I do see the "Title" as you described, but unfortunatley, SharePoint is not putting the filename in the "Title" field.

SharePoint is using the "Name" property to store the filename in a document library. This field, "Name" does not show up in the Infopath Dataconnection.
