I'm trying to populate a field with a value from a sceondary datasource depending on the value in two other fields equaling simular fields in the main datasource.

I dont want to use repeating tables with filter criteria on field 1 and field 2 as this requires field 1 data being selected on the Form twice.

What I'm looking for is either a lookup function or some kind of IF statement.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello

Using Conditional formatting, Hide the field into which you have the Populated value. Use the Conditions to hide the field that as long as the other 2 fields are blank and not equal to Similar fields. Only when the 2 fields are equal to the similar fields the populated field will be shown.

Many thanks but this isnt exactly what I'm after.

Imagine a financial for where there is a different fiancial Cost Centre Code for each country and each sales channel in that country.

Now the Country and Sales Channel will have been selected by the user in an earlier view.

What I want in the view in question is to return the cost center that belongs to the country and sales channel previously selected.

Does this make sense?
