capture close event in infoPath 2003 or disable close (X) button on upper right corner

    Hello,

Does any know how to capture a "close" event in InfoPath 2003? Or if this does not exist (which doesn't seem likely after several searches), is it possible to disable the "x" button on the upper right corner of the Infopath window? It's just that I need to run some clean up code before user closes the application. I understand that one option would be to add a button that calls a close command; however, because it's very essential that the clean up code runs before closing the application (otherwise the previously accessed records will remain unavailable for other users), I don't think doing this would be enough.

I am not an expert coder. I am only using vbscript to code. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate that a lot.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

To my knowledge, we cannot disable the X button on the upper right corner of the InfoPath window.  When you close the form _Shutdown() which is added by default when you use the form with code will be called.
