    Refresh problem

I've got a form where the user can enter part of the supplier's name, hit search and get a drop-down list of matches.

I'm using conditional formatting to hide/show the relevant bits according to the results of functions in my managed code.

The problem I'm having is that the update of the form only takes place on the second go. So, for example:

    1. I enter a search string & click on "Search". Nothing happens.
    2. I click on the Search button again and the field display flips as it should do.

Is there a way for me to provoke the form update on the first button click?

    Thanks.

My guess is that your managed code needs to update the data source in someway to get the refresh to happen.

Yes, I came to the same conclusion & I've changed the way I've done it so that the logic to hide or reveal the fields is based on booleans stored in the schema. That way, InfoPath see the values being changed and triggers the refresh.
