    VBScript: eventObj.ReportError HELP!!!

    Hey guys,

I have been searching high and low but I cannot find the proper syntax for calling the eventObj.ReportError using VBScript. The reason I'm not using JScript is because I'm more familiar with VBScript. But none of the examples are in VBScript.

Can anyone give me some pointers?

    Thanks in advance.

    Tom

    Re: VBScript: eventObj.ReportError HELP!!!

    Here are a couple examples:
    Sub msoxd_my_field1_OnValidate(eventObj)
    dim errObj
set errObj = eventObj.ReportError(eventObj.site, "Short err message text", false, "long err message", 1234, "modal")
'or if not using returned error object (also default value for 'bstrDetailedErrorMessage' and 'lErrorCode' missing args)
eventObj.ReportError eventObj.site, "Short err message text", false, ,, "modal"
    End Sub
