is there a way to add fields to a Data Source that does not require right clicking and selecting Add. This gets very repetetive for lots of fields. I'm hoping that there might be some keyboard shortcuts that I might not have found yet.

If you drag-and-drop controls into the view, it will auto-create fields. Then you would need to rename them. Personally, I don't like this approach.

Another option is to start your schema, then extract the form files, manaully modify the schema XSD file (be careful when manually modifying any InfoPath form template file), and then opening your template again.
