Using Drop down to Provide parameter

I have a dropdown that is populated from a 2nd data connection, displaying a list of Offices. I would like get additional data for the selected office and put that data into read only fields on a form. How can I do this?
I know how to have a secondary data connection provide multiple columns and then have data from the same row as the selected item populate the fields on the form, but this did not perform very well and I'm trying to reduce the amount of data coming from my database.
    Thanks

    Hi Dean,
I recommend using our Database Accelerator which includes filtering so that you don't have to hardcode your query to return TOP N and so that you don't have to write code. The free dev edition of our Web service suite can be downloaded from http://www.qdabra.com/proddetail.asp?prod=QDBXL1. Send me e-mail and I'll send you a HowTo describing simple steps to use it.
