I took a while to make changes since we are a small operation so the old site was active for a couple of months until I finished updating forms and links for the new site. Once I was finished I copied forms that had changed or been added since the database attach to the new SharePoint site and re-linked the forms. This is where the strangeness starts. I have a InfoPath form that searches for people's previously submitted expense requests that are also InfoPath forms. When I use the form to search it will find any forms that were in the folder when the database attach was done and it will find any new forms that were added after the new site went live. It will not find any form that was copied over manually between those 2 dates. I can see the forms in the folder and I can open them but I cannot use InfoPath to search for them. 08-28-2017 07:48 AM In reply to Hilary Stoupa Joined on 06-20-2008 Posts 13,297 Re: Search InfoPath forms post SharePoint 2013 Migration Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact One thing I'd do is verify that the forms you copied are correctly linked (look in the re-link view and verify the forms have the same template URL). If your search form relies on promoted property data, make sure that is correctly populated. Reply Contact Thanks for the reply. I actually looked for a way to delete the question since I found my answer. What happened is that when I copied the files manually and relinked them the title field in the library did not fill. Since I was searching on the title field anything copied manually could not be found. I ended up copying the form name to the title field and was able to find and open the forms. 08-28-2017 08:23 AM In reply to Hilary Stoupa Joined on 06-20-2008 Posts 13,297 Re: Search InfoPath forms post SharePoint 2013 Migration Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer...
