I've done some searching on the forum and cannot find anything regarding the issue I have. I am hoping someone could assist me. I am fairly new to InfoPath and we use it mainly as a fill and print form, not as a form published on a Sharepoint site.
As part of our form, I have created a table for costs per month for various benefits (a 12 by 5 table of data). I used a formula in each of the fields (except the first row) to make the benefit cost equal to the cost of the month above, so that we don’t have to fill in the same amount 12 times. If there is an increase in a benefit cost, we can manually enter the new cost in the appropriate month and then that amount will then update the months going down. This is all working fine, however, when we save the form and then re-open it later if we have to make any changes to the costs, the form opens up with the costs all reset to the first amount that was entered for the column. The change in benefit cost is not saved. Is there a way to enter this without losing the increase in cost or having to enter 12 months of benefit costs?
I hope I have explained this in a way that it makes sense. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.
