    View stuck in Edit

I have a three view form: 1) On default form load I use authenticated user to query and check my sharepoint list to see what inventory is assigned to the user. This is accomplished through the main data connection. It is rendered in a repeating table and is not editable - by design. 2) A button "Add Item"on the default form invokes View 2. The user can enter a four digit Inventory ID from a tag on the device. If the item already exists in the list the fields such as manufacture, model etc. are populated and the user can select "Reassign" button to take the item from a former employee - for example. The item reassigns and the user is redirected to the default view. The new item is added to their list for review. I use a secondary connection to compare the main Inventory Query ID to the Secondary Inventory ID. Equal creates an opportunity to reassign, unequal equal switch view to add new. This all works great. 3) The problem: If the 4 digit number does not exist in the list - the view is switched to a third view which - via texts and lists - the item can be added - this does not work. On redirection the user is lost? (user fields are empty) and all other fields are locked and grey. On testing the last view independent from the button navigation, if a 4 digit code exists - the fields work fine (of course the populate with the pre-recorded data). If the 4 digit code is non-existent - everything is locked and absent. I am considering prepopulating the list with a couple thousand 4 digit codes, but after figuring out how to reassign that'd be depressing. Help? Thanks in advance. JP

Any chance I can take a look at your form so I can see the rules? You can attach a template under the "Options" tab in a reply.
