Infopath template + Sharepoint Foundation server 2013

Hi, I designed an infopath 2013 template called Template1.xsn with infopath designer. I publish this template in a document library in a custom site (sharepoint foundation server 2013) The question is: What's the difference between the template designed with infopath designer and the .xml published on the document library? Are the same files? Regards, Jorge

InfoPath templates are .xsn file extensions. They create .xml files. If you create a new form library from SharePoint, instead of from InfoPath when you publish, I think the default file type is .xml.... Sorry if I am not quite answering your question - I didn't quite understand it. :)
