Hi All, I'm facing a tough one, that I may just need an outside perspective on.
1) Users answer a multiple selection box, where they can answer up to 5 or 6 programs.
2) After these 5 or 6 are selected there are another 20 or so questions that get asked and there are overlaps of questions asked between these 5 or 6 programs
These questions are all driven from a custom list, if a question falls into a particular program or programs it would be asked and the options that are associated with that question are also presented in an appropriate drop-down or multi-select box.
So, how can I ensure that I get the questions options presented in the drop-down and question text presented as well.
I've found use for the "All of occurrences" and doing the lookup, but really struggling with situations where multiple programs are chosen.
Some supporting data to help illustrate:
Program Table
ID Name
1 Prog 1
2 Prog 2
Question Table
Question Number | Text | Program
1 | Question 1 | 1
2 | Question 2 | 1
3 | Question 3 | 1
1 | Question 1 | 2
2 | Question 2 | 2
3 | Question 3 | 2
Question Options Table
Question | Value | Option Text | Program
1 | 1 | Yes | 1
1 | 2 | No | 1
2 | 1 | Yes | 1
2 | 2 | No | 1
3 | 1 | Yes | 1
3 | 2 | No | 1
1 | 1 | Yes | 2
1 | 2 | No | 2
2 | 1 | Yes | 2
2 | 2 | No | 2
3 | 1 | Yes | 2
3 | 2 | No | 2
Value is what get's entered in as the response to a question and option text is what is presented in the drop-down.
1) Pick program(s)
2) Show question 1,2,3 based on the selections, but leave it open so that if questions 2 is deactivated for program 2, it can do this dynamically. IE the list drives what is /isn't asked of each respondent.
Thanks all for the help! Just need someone to get me over the hump with a clever idea.
