Hi Everyone,
Please forgive me urgent request but I've been dwelling on this issue for a month now. I've posted before and someone attempted to help but the request for help got dropped off.
SCENARIO: Forms are submitted to my team to process - we have 10 forms. Each form will have the main page (form) and a controls page (controls) as well as an access denied page I made.
1) When the viewing user = submitter, form opens to allow viewer to see form again
2) When the viewing user != submitter, form opens but switches to the access denied view
3) When the viewing user is a part of a list of 7 names (team members on my team), the form should open.
I'm having hard time with #3.
I need a way for the list of team members names to be pulled from Sharepoint (so I dont have to update every form if one person leaves), and I need the form to evaluate if the viewing user is the original submitter or a member of this list, allow viewing. If no, access denied.
I have 2 fields - VIEWINGUSER and SUBMITTINGUSER and #1 and #2 conditions work.
ON FORM LOAD both of the above fields are set from username() and then shortened to just the login id of the staff member.
The dropdown of team members (pulled from sharepoint) is APPROVEDVIEWERS.
I can't get #3 at all. I've used the condition "If VIEWINGUSER is not equal to APPROVEDVIEWERS", I've tried "If APPROVEDVIEWERS does not contain VIEWINGUSER" etc etc...no logic seems to make it work
PLEASE HELP!
