Create another textbox for each checkmark field call it CheckCalc1, checkCalc2 etc etc. Use a rule on every checkbox that if the checkbox is checked change a fields value for the new checkbox to 1.
You know how many total number of checkbox fields you have I will assume 20 fields.
Have another textbox field, call it SumCheckCalc that is the sum of all the textbox fields in step 1, i.e. CheckCalc1+CheckCalc2+Checkcalc3 so on so forth.
Take that value and minus it from the total number of fields you have (20), so SumCheckCalc - 20 . That should be the number of unchecked checkboxes.
