I have a list, in which I have customized the edit form using InfoPath in SharePoint 2010. This form contains a Multi Select choice column.
I wish to select the check boxes, based on some value in a textbox using javascript/jquery. I am able to do so by setting the Checked attribute of the check box (Input control) to true. On the client the checkbox shows checked as well. But we i save the form or click on any other option the selection is lost.
After some analysis I figured out that when I select the checkbox from UI, a function from core.js is called which is saving this somewhere on the client side or along with the form state. I want to do that same operation using my script so that the check box selection is retained even when the form is saved.
