Split a merged repeating table field in a new Form

I'm creating two separate infopath forms that are each connected to their own Form library. Each form in form 1 has an ID and multiple Job Numbers. After the form is submitted the library looks like this: (ID | JOB #) (1023 | 1 2 3 4) (1043 | 1 2 3) Then on the second form I want to have two drop downs. On the first I have it working where the user selects the ID from the first list. Then on the second drop down i want to have the picklist choices to be the JOB #'s for that ID. Because I merged them on publishing the first list I only have 1 value with each job #. I need some way to split them up on the spaces and have each number be a separate value. I've tried splitting them and placing them in a repeating table, then having the picklist get values from the repeating table. I could use some help. It's my understanding I cannot use code because it's a browser form used in Sharepoint Online. Thanks

Hi - you can use code in browser forms (I think you may have asked another question about this that I answered?). InfoPath has no rule options for inserting an instance of a repeating group. I'd think this possibly could be done with some interesting rules - but you'd have to have some idea in advance of how many rows parsing this would create so you could use an XML data source in the form with a number of rows included by default. If you are able to just write code for it, I'd take that approach myself - if you aren't a dev, you could give qRules a try and I could help you with the logic you'd need for that.
