I have a webservice published to iis 7. Last week I was able to connect through the Data Connection Wizard and submit data successfully. I was even able to use the Data Connection wizard to modify the web service url when in debug mode (Visual Studio 2013 - .net 4.5) and utilize breakpoints in my code. Last week I was amazed at how simple it was.
AFAIK nothing has changed ... now, when I attempt to modify/create a connection using the Data Connection wizard I get the error: 'Could not open http://localhost:5163/Service.asmx?WSDL' when I click OK i get this message - 'InfoPath cannot find or cannot access the specified Web serivice description' and the details read:
The file is not a valid XML file.
Not enough storage is available to process this command.
I have researched high and low trying to find an answer for this. I get the exact same results when I attempt to connect to the published service in IIS. The log files on the webserver are giving an http 405 error. Looking in my local iis express logs I am getting the same thing. Here is a copy of an attempt from iis express that shows the error:

What is this PROPFIND that is failing? Can anyone point me in the right direction here?
