Hoping someone can advise a relative newbie to InfoPath. We are using SharePoint 2013 and InfoPath 2013. I have created 2 custom lists in SharePoint as described below
Profiles List Groups List
Title (text) GroupDef (text) Profile (Lookup column to Profiles List "title" column & multi value)
RPL BASIC USER RPL Basic | Basic Read only access RPL BASIC USER; RPL ENGINEER; RPL PROCUREMENT STARTER; RPL CRAFTSPERSON
RPL CRAFTSPERSON RPL SC MORNING MEETING RPL BASIC USER; RPL ENGINEER; CONTRACT SUPERVISOR
RPL ENGINEER RPL SC Maint RPL CRAFTSPERSON; RPL ENGINEER
Within the InfoPath form, I have a drop down box connected to the Profiles list that brings back the full list of profiles. Underneath the drop-down is a list box connected to the Groups list via Data Connection that returns the Groups that are part of the selected profile using a filter ("Profile Value" = Drop-down value) on the GroupDef field in the list. This works fine and the correct groups are returned and displayed in the listbox based on the profile drop-down.
The problem I am having is I wish to add a multiple selection list along side the existing controls that displays a list of groups that are not part of the profile already, or not listed in the listbox control. I cannot get any kind of filter to work and am hoping someone could suggest a workable solution within InfoPath. Reversing the filter used on the listbox to "Profile Value" not equals Drop-down does not return the correct results, and think it's because of the multi value nature of the field, it is seeing only the first value. Any help appreciated!
