Updating Items in a Repeating Table

Hey guys and gals, I've been browsing this forum for answers for some time now and finally found a road block that I haven't been able to find an answer to. I have a payroll system on my SharePoint 2013 O365 and, in summary: 1) A corporate "Admin" will fill a list with submitted employee time 2) A Field Admin (works in field) goes in this list to approve. (by approve I mean change the "No" to "Yes" in the "Approved" column) 3) Once "Yes" is selected and submitted, then HR takes the list and actually pays our employees. I have been stuck on getting the multiple approval going, I am wondering how I should go about this. I was thinking about taking the list in a repeating table and then "updating" the list items instead of creating new ones but I'm not 100% sure. I also have the newest qdabra (value pack) so injecting is not an issue. ***I was looking at something like https://approvemultipleitems.codeplex.com/ but couldn't get it to even show up in my ribbon. Something like this would be perfect. -Terra

    Hi!

As is often the case, I'm confused. :)

I don't see anything in the steps you outlined that indicates multiple approval? Are there supposed to be more than one person setting list entries to "Yes"? or is setting one entry to "Yes" for an employee supposed to set all the entries to "Yes"? How do things get into the list? From an InfoPath form, or are they just manually entered into the list?

    Edit: rewording.

Is there a way in InfoPath or by a SharePoint workflow to combine "Employee Time" list items based on the same "Employee Name."

So if John Doe has 3 list entries with the times "20, 30, 40" it would automatically add those items together by John Doe to equal 90, and not add confuse it with entries for "Jane Doe?" or this is a little more complicated.
