I have created a sharepoint infopath form for our sales department, in this form multiple contact can be entered for 1 sales report, there are multiple sales report or you can multiple submitted sharepoint forms with multiple contact information. Once end user submit it will publish on MOSS 2007 and dislayed in sharepoint list with predefined fields.

Now here I want my scenerio changed that is whenever user will click any item in sharepoint list, it will not open infopath form, it willdisplay information in 3 section/zone i.e left/right and bottom zone. In left form I will display data in read only mode as form view, in right view I want to display google map depending on contact information, and in bottom zone I want display the the multiple contact as a list i.e. fname/lname/phome/emailaddress and next to this I want to display workflow status/history for current selected infopath entry.

I will be thankful if any one can let me know the better way to handle this like any article/any faq or any kind of source code.

So you want this layout in the InfoPath form or in SharePoint?

It would be pretty simple in InfoPath other than the map display but I have had a link for that in forms.

Actually I think if you were extracting the data then you could maybe do this in a SRS report.

Let me explain you again.

Initially there will be list of all the salresreport infopath form, now once user clicks on any of salesreport, I want to display information as I mentioned earlier in sharepoint.

Yah I understand.

As you know SharePiont does not have anything built for this.

You could maybe create something in designer but with a SRS report you would just embed it into SharePoint or use the built in web parts in SP2007.

I want to create a infopath Form like wizard with 5 steps.

once the usere move from first step to second step, the data should be save in libarary.

Also the user close the form in the middle of sec step, When the user comes next time, they continue from second step.

Please Guide me

Hey Jenkins.

Add your data connection for submitting to Sharepoint.

Create a field for tracking the stage of the form which defaults to 1 with no updates.

Create your first view ( Step 1)

Put a button at the bottom called next. Add rules to the button, one is if stage = 1 set stage to 2.

Another rule is to submit to SharePoint and switch to view 2.

Do this with each additional view and update the stage number.

Then add rules to open, in form options.

Check stage and if from is two switch to view 2 and if stage is 3 switch to view 3 etc.

This way when a user opens a form it returns to the highest completed stage.

You may want a back button to review previous steps.

Now it working fine.

Hey Jenkins, i tried doing the same but could not get , let me explain my scenario.. I have 6 infopath forms that need to be used for entering the data and each Form can be filled at any time, I mean user can fill one form today and remaining later and these forms have to be stored temparaily in some storage may be we can use sharepoint LIst. Here we need to generate one ID as user may enter remaining Infopath forms lated basing on that ID. in the Last 6th infopath form we need to submit the data , we use one webservices to push the data into oracle database. But that web services uses only few parameters to store data from all the 6 infopath forms . remaining data of the infopath forms has to be be stored in some storage place may be sharepoint List. and also we need to generate a .doc file or PDF with all consolidated data that we entered in all the 6 Infopath foms and send this as an attachement to the oracle database using the same web services. let me now how to proceed with this scenario. i found some article to use XmlFormView to move from one infopath to another. Hello Clay Fox, I have a share point list and two info path form views to enter data. I can save data using those two views . But when ever i am trying to view any item it is showing only one view how to display both the views?
