I use IP 2010 designer to build 2007 web-browser compatible forms and publish to our Sharepoint site for our internal users to use. I have added quite a bit to an existing large form. I use the Submit button for user to click once they've entered a customer name and project number. Everything used to work just fine; it would submit successfully and it would be published to our forms site for other users to add continued edits to the form after checking-in and out. With my new additions, when we click Submit, the browser comes back with message "The form cannot be submitted because of an error." How do I identify what the error is so the submit will work? When I run the design checker, no errors or warnings are found except that it cannot verify the template on the server...
It read's "Could not verify the form template on the target server: http//team.source.com/iteam/_vti_bin/FormsServices.asmx. Make sure you are connected to the network and have access to the server."
I publish these remotely from my home office over a VPN connection. I need to understand how to nail down what error is causing my submit button not to work.
