show Message box programatically in browser enabled InfoPath forms

Hi, There is a requirement where I need to show a message box in browser enabled InfoPath form when a button is clicked and I need to do it programatically with out using any rules. I tried with MessageBox.show() by adding System.Windows.Forms.dll, but of no use when I tried to upload this form to Central Administration. It is throwing me the following error: "User Interface operations are not supported. Please try removing System.Windows.Forms.dll" . Is there any way that I can code it programatically?? Thanks in advance..

    Hello Kalyan,

As far as I know there is no way to work around that restriction for the browser enabled forms. You simply can't add the System.Windows.Forms.dll. I had the same problem as you and the only solution I could think of was to add a hidden section in the form and show it when required.

If somebody else knows a better way of solving this, please, don't be shy :-)

    Hugs,

    Daniel Rivas.
