    Full Trust

I have been Googling for a few days and seem to have only confused myself further. I will start off by saying that I am not a computer scientist and have VERY limited technical knowledge. I am trying to deploy an InfoPath form that has custom coded buttons.  The form needs Full Trust and I am having trouble figuring out how to enable this. I am deploying the form locally as opposed to using a SharePoint/Web based solution. Each user will install the form on their desktop from either an email or USB drive. I have seen solutions that use the Publish to Installable Form, but that option seems to be missing from InfoPath 2013. I have also tried the official Microsoft recommendation of modifying the manifest and template files then repacking the XSN file. When I attempt to register the repacked XSN in visual studio, I get an access is denied error. I made sure that the file is not read only and I have tried running the code with admin privileges. I don't have the resources to obtain a digital certificate so I really need to figure out how to make the form installable to enable full trust once deployed. I have made a self signed certificate for testing but obviously that isn't a solution for other users.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi - we have a tool you can use to install your full trust form - http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/installation_and_setup/entry81523.aspx

It is free. You'll need to make sure when you publish your form, you leave the alternate path blank in the publish dialog displayed in the screenshot.

Oh wow, this seems perfect! Been hoping there was a non coding solution. I tried clicking on the link but it gave me an "Access denied: Either this forum does not exist or you are not allowed to edit" error.

I updated the link in my post to the correct one - sorry about that!
