I have created a set of three fields roughly based on this blog posting (http://www.moderntoad.com/2012/02/23/infopath-date-hour-and-minute-picker-to-replicate-sharepoint-experience/).
Essentially, it's three fields meant to provide the user with a time picker as opposed to a text field for typing in the time:
- A date picker
- A drop down pulling from a SharePoint list of hours
- A drop down pulling from a SharePoint list of minutes
These fields, when submitted, trigger a workflow which populates a date/time field.
I've implemented the lists, the fields and the workflow once, and they work beautifully. The client signed off, but asked that I replicate the fix at another point on the form. Figured it was an easy thing to do - it's already a proven solution, what could go wrong? Hunh!
Well, I created a new triumvirate of fields, hooked up the two drop downs to the lists, published them out, and went to check on them, only to discover that they are not editable! The fields they are meant to replace are perfectly editable, but these won't budge! Does anybody have any clues? I can't find anything online and nobody in the office can see any reason why they are not working either.
