Do qrules work in Office 365? If yes, what needs to be done to make them work in addition to injecting qrules in InfoPath form?

Hi - qRules is O365 compatible. Are you having an issue? Is this a browser or a filler form?

Yes it is a browser form. I get an error if I open a form in browser that has qrules injected. Do qrules work with browser based forms? If yes, anything additional needs to be done to make the forms working?

Yes, qRules works in browser forms. You need to be sure you injected with the browser version of qRules. You need to be a site collection admin to publish a browser form with code or qRules. What is the error message you are getting?

I am using qRules v5.2, I have injected qrules, using InfoPath 2010, compability: Browser and Sandbox. I dont have the error, i created new form as my form with qrules stopped working. I think was a generic error, nothing specific, while publishing the form it also showed me the error that form is not compatible with browser version and it will only work with InfoPath filler.

Do you have any steps or documentation which states on each step on how to use qrules in InfoPath for office 365.

There is nothing special to do with Office 365. In the user guide, you'll find info on publishing a sandboxed form - If you are not a site collection admin you will not be able to publish as a browser form with qRules or code.
