Using a repeating section and and regular section control in the same form

    Hi,

I have seen this done in another form, but I'm not sure how they did it.  When I can create my form, I use the SharePoint List template, and then when I give it the server location I say that I want to receive and submit data.  Then when I look at my list of controls, I get the repeating section control (but not the regular one), and I don't have the option to change it.  If I had said I only wanted to submit data, I would only get the regular section control.  I want the regular section control so that I can use rules to hide parts of the form under certain conditions.  I want the repeating section control to store history for a field.  I have tried various other permutations of form templates, blank forms templates and even  data connection templates, but I haven't been able to get both types of sections to show up in the controls AND be able to connect to a SharePoint List.  Am I missing something obvious?  The example form I have is definitely connecting to a SharePoint list, not a document library, or form library or anything special like that.

     Any advice would be appreciated.

     Thanks.
