 I have a number of repeating groups in an InfoPath form which I write to SharePoint Lists using SubmitToSharePointList .

The form is able to be edited at a number of stages and some items may be deleted.  i.e. the line item which has been written to SharePoint may be deleted from the form. 

When I then "update" i.e. re submit the data to SharePoint, any new items are added, and items that have changed are updated BUT the items that have been deleted in the form do not get deleted in SharePoint. 

How can I correct this ?

Use the RefreshListItems command on the finishedLoading node (finishedLoading = true) - you don't have to let it update your items from the list, you can use it in report mode - but behind the scenes, it creates a list of the items linked to SharePoint in the form when it is opened (so that Submit To SharePoint List knows what to delete).
